KoKKi Kotiin chefs are professionals who have completed formal culinary training. With long careers in the field, they always arrive in clean chef attire, ready to serve dishes made from fresh ingredients right to your table. Naturally, they carry a hygiene passport and a positive attitude. Each chef works from their own kitchen or a partner facility where they prepare everything in advance for your event.
The cancellation policy is simple: customers cancel by sending an email to info@kokkikotiin.fi. Cancellations made at least 7 days before the event are free of charge. For cancellations received 6–3 days prior, a 50% fee applies, and after that, the cancellation fee is 75% of the quoted price.
If a booked service is suddenly cancelled due to illness, KoKKi Kotiin chefs and servers may cancel up to 10 days before the scheduled date. We’ll immediately try to find a suitable replacement for your event. Is it possible to book a chef or server on the same day the event is scheduled to take place? If the service is marked in the calendar, it means the provider is available and ready to deliver what you requested. Each chef or server will still contact you directly to confirm whether they can attend your event. And remember — you can always email info@kokkikotiin.fi to help speed things up.
Payment
Each chef offers different menus and pricing, and you’re welcome to share your preferred budget for the meal. The invoice is usually issued after the event, with a breakdown of ingredient costs and labor. The labor portion qualifies for household tax deduction. The invoice will be sent either by your chosen chef or by Kokkikotiin Oy, with a 7-day payment term.
Each server has their own hourly rate, so explore the options and book the professional that best suits your celebration.
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us. After each event, we send out a feedback survey — based on your responses, each chef or server can gain better visibility on the kokkikotiin.fi website.
